WooCommerce Address Search Checkout

This WooCommerce add-on allows autofill of address fields at checkout using Google Autocomplete and Places (new) API.

Effortless checkout for every customer

Our WooCommerce Address Search Checkout plugin, designed for all websites, lets customers find and autofill their addresses with ease.

This reduces errors and streamlines the entire checkout process, leading to happier customers and more sales.

About Google Places API

The plugin uses Google’s Places API to deliver fast and accurate address suggestions at checkout. To use it, you’ll need your own Google API key — this gives you full control over usage and costs.

How to get your API key

  1. Go to Google Cloud Console and sign in with your Google account.
  2. Create a new project (or select an existing one).
  3. Go to APIs & Services → Library and enable the following APIs:
    • Maps JavaScript API
    • Places API (New) — make sure to select the “New” version, not the legacy Places API.
  4. Go to APIs & Services → Credentials and click “Create Credentials” → “API Key”.
  5. Recommended: Restrict your API key to “HTTP referrers” and add your domain (e.g. *.yourdomain.com/*).
  6. Recommended: Under “API restrictions”, limit the key to “Maps JavaScript API” and “Places API (New)” only.
  7. Copy the API key and paste it into the plugin settings.

Pricing

Google uses session-based pricing, meaning everything a customer types during one checkout counts as a single session — not per keystroke. Up to 10,000 sessions per month are completely free, which covers most small and medium-sized stores.

For full pricing details, visit the Google Maps Platform Pricing page.
